Barks & Badges Scheduled

SAVE THE DATE!! Hello K9 friends! With Covid restrictions in mind and knowing that we may have to cancel depending on the rules in June, we are tentatively scheduling our annual Barks and Badges event for June 26th at Bartley Ranch. Please keep us in mind and put us on your calendars!!

If you’ve been before, you know that we really “put on the dog”, so to speak, haha. We work in conjunction with the WCSO to bring you K9 demos of every kind, plus many other fun and interesting Sheriff’s Office equipment and personnel. It’s a great day for kids and adults alike! Feel free to share, and download and print our poster for display. Thank you so much for your continued support! You make our community a safer place!

Updates to K9 Partners Website

Hello… and pardon our dust as we upgrade and update our website.  We are changing the design and migrating pages to the site as we go, so if you aren’t finding what you’re looking for right now, please check back in a few days.

We hope to have our beautiful new site completely updated by March 17th, although we expect to be adding new pages and new donation gifts soon. We will post updates as we go.

Thanks for your patience.

Our Mission Statement

Washoe County K9 Partners is a non-profit organization designed to help Washoe County, Nevada’s law enforcement dogs that serve and protect our communities with equipment, training, and medical needs.  This organization is not designed to take the place of any agency’s K9 budget, but to assist as needed.

All funds collected stay in our communities to help our K9s.  The Washoe County K9 Partners Board of Directors vet and approve all expenditures.

All donations are kept in a general fund that is used for approved expenses.  The only exceptions to this practice are for prior arrangements made for a donation earmarked for a specific purpose, such as the purchase and training of a K9 and handler.
